Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lead Developer & Building AI Product Manager to spearhead the development of our groundbreaking AI platform. This unique role combines your technical expertise with strong product management skills, allowing you to drive the platform's creation from the ground up.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Product Management

    • Lead the definition of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and manage the creation of the MVP in close collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and the Director of Research and Development.

    • Participate in (potential) client engagements to refine the product specification

    • Conduct market research and analyze high level business plans.

    • Support fundraising efforts.

  • Product Development

    • Lead the technical development of the product MVP, including architecture design, code implementation, testing, and deployment.

    • Utilize your expertise in open-source AI models and frameworks to build and deploy machine learning models.

    • Develop and maintain a user-friendly online UI for the platform.

    • Gather requirements and feedback from customers and stakeholders to inform product direction and prioritization.

    • Collaborate with the Head of R&D and cross-functional teams (e.g., data scientists, designers) to ensure a cohesive product experience.

    • Create and manage the product roadmap, defining features, release timelines, and success metrics.

    • Pending the achievement of financing, lead the product development into future iterations.

    • Pending the achievement of financing, support the buildout of the internal team.

  • Delivery:

    • Support client work for 10 – 12 hours per week in response to specific project needs.

    • Technical support of client work pertaining to data analysis, use of software tools, and other automation to accelerate the delivery of client work.

  • General:

    • Attend and participate in company and team meetings.

    • Additional duties as assigned.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent field.

  • Demonstrated record of success as a product developer.

  • A proven track record for building and maintaining collaborative, diverse and inclusive workforces.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic financial vision into an operational model.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong experience in software development, with expertise in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Java, TensorFlow).

  • Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

  • Deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with experience in building and deploying models.

  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to client and professional services audiences.

  • Microsoft 365 Suite and Google Suite programs.

Travel and Working Conditions

  • Remote working environment with optional in-office time. 

  • Sedentary job which involves some movement to carry out your job duties.

  • Dependent on project and client’s location. Local travel as needed.  Willing to spend 10% of year traveling nationally. 

  • At least 6 in office days per month.
