Jean is best known for her passion around performance and making good things happen for our clients, as well as the greater community. Her professional journey hit high speed when she landed as VP Community Affairs at 9NEWS in 1987. During her time at the NBC station, she developed a vast network of contacts ranging from grassroots organizations to the corporate boardrooms. She honed her skills at building coalitions around purpose and shared values. Jean took this network and skill set with her when she founded Galloway Group in 2000. Over the past 16 years, her collaborative style of leadership, creativity and commitment to impact have helped establish numerous legacy programs and initiatives for both for profit and non profit clients. Jean tries to live by her guiding principal every day: lead a life of purpose and you will remain forever young.
Jean in the World: Jean’s greatest pride and joy is her family: her husband, Dr. Ben Galloway; two daughters, Cindy and Katie, and three grandchildren, Andrew, Savannah and Asher. Along with spending time with family and friends, Jean is an enthusiastic sports fan and participant. She is often seen rooting on grandson Andrew at Cherry Creek High School basketball games as well as her favorite football team, the Denver Broncos. Her volunteer leadership stretches from having been the first woman to serve as chair of the Denver Sports Commission to involvement at Judi’s House, Rose Community Foundation and Volunteers of America.
