Katharine Brenton

Katharine Brenton works with mission-driven organizations to develop and implement strategies that engage key audiences and inspire them to act. She is a marketing and communications strategist with extensive experience in the areas of early childhood, K-12 and higher education, economic stability, workforce development, mental health, and health care.

Katharine has nearly 20 years of experience designing and implementing effective outreach, marketing and communications efforts on behalf of nonprofits, foundations, health care systems, education institutions, and government agencies. With experience grounded in her early career in print journalism and in-house communications, Katharine has spent the last 11 years as a marketing and communications consultant. Between 2015 and 2020 she served as a full-time strategist for SE2, an agency focused on behavior change, positive social norming, and policy change. Since 2020, Katharine has worked as an independent consultant.

Katharine brings deep expertise in marketing and communications for public institutions, helping them manage change and complexity, clarify their message, and achieve organizational goals. Katharine specializes in complex communications projects that require alignment of messaging and execution with broader business goals.

Katharine is fluent in Spanish, written and spoken, and she is committed to helping to ensure that all the members of our diverse communities have access to information and resources they need to thrive.
